INTERVIEW WITH ANDREW SAMUELS
Psychotherapy could and should take its place as part of a progressive
coalition of spiritual and political movements – provided therapists can
manage to reach out to other people and groups. Politics can be reframed as
psychological self-expression – creativity for all.– Prof. Andrew Samuels
In this interview, Kathy Laverty engages with Andrew Samuels on the topics of Psychotherapy and Politics, in the wake of his visit to the 2015 ITAA Conference in Sydney, Australia as a keynote speaker. Andrew Samuels has, for 40 years, been evolving a unique blend of post-Jungian, relational psychoanalytic and humanistic approaches to therapy work.
