ITAA

Kathy was the Australasia representative on the board of Trustees from 2009 to 2011. The International Transactional Analysis Association is a nonprofit educational organisation founded by Eric Berne, MD. Its members include psychotherapists, counsellors, educators, and organisational development specialists. Kathy is the Scientific Chair of the ITAA/FTAA Conference for 2015

PACFA

The Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia Inc. is a peak body for Member Associations, which meet the standards developed by consensus as appropriate for professional practitioners within the disciplines of Counselling and Psychotherapy in the Australian community. Kathy served as a Board Member of PACFA from 2013 to 2015.

EATA 

The European Association of Transactional Analysis (EATA) is the umbrella organisation for Europe based TA associations. Its membership is aprox. 8000

TAWCS

Kathy has been involved in talks from 2013 and served as Co-Chair from 2014 – August 2015.  Transactional Analysis Council of World Standards (TAWCS) – a peak body that overseas and consults training and standards in TA

ATAA

Kathy Laverty is a past board member of Australian Transactional Analysis Association (WPATA). Kathy was the Chair of TSC – training and standards council between 2012 and August 2015. The purpose of ATAA is to introduce, teach and create an awareness of the theory, methods and principles of Transactional Analysis. We do this by offering training, conferences, workshops, seminars, supervision and more.
